Christmas Day Wonder

This was our first time ordering with your website and we were most impressed. The roast was absolutely delicious and succulent. We ordered the 2kg bird and there was plenty for leftovers as no waste. As someone else has previously mentioned, it is a bit hard to tell which meat was which.
However, we will definitely order next year!!

Tasty and moist 3 bird roast

This is the second time we bought our Xmas roast from you. Thank you so much for sending out the roast which arrived right on time again! It was really easy to cook (great cooking instructions online) and tasted moist and delicious. Plenty to go round - 2.5kilo bird was plenty for 5 adults (and we all had seconds) plus enough for sandwiches later. See you next year!

3bird roast very good tasted good. Delivery not impressed left on door step with no note to say they had left goods did not now how long item had been there.

Cooked this for my family and it made our Christmas day. The meat was moist and so tasty. I am celiac and had to order one without the sausage meat and they could have been more accommodating. Excellent product, amazing customer service.

Great taste and great customer care

It was our first time cooking 3 bird roast at home. We were impressed by how tasty and tender it was. The cooking instruction was great! There were only 4 of us so we ordered the smallest size. We all had enough with no leftover. However, we loved it so much that we might order a larger one so we can eat for more than a meal next time!
We had some problem with delivery but it was quickly resolved by the team so no stress before Xmas after all. Thank you!

I agree with reviewer Karen: the duck content was rather small which is important when the other birds are turkey and chicken and so one is looking for a flavour contrast. That said, the 3 bird roast was very juicy and tasty and of course there was no waste at all. We had a problem with the wrong size being delivered but to give credit when we pointed this out they took complete control and made sure a replacement was sent express to arrive on Christmas Eve. I would definitely order again but I hope the comments re the small duck content are taken on board.

Cooked perfectly according to the instructions. We had it for Christmas dinner and then cold the next day. Everyone liked it. If I'm cooking Christmas dinner again next year, i'll buy this again.

Our free-range birds are reared using traditional methods, roaming and foraging as they please. Our focus on provenance and welfare ensures the highest-quality Christmas meat for your dinner table.
Luxury award-winning gluten free pork sausage stuffing is then added to ensure exquisite taste and melt-in-the-mouth texture. Lastly, the joint is dressed with award-winning Cumbrian pancetta and a couple of sprigs of thyme to maintain the succulent flavours inside and to add visual “wow” effect.
After the main feast any that is left over also tastes very good cold, so you can look forward to another treat if you don’t finish it in the first sitting.

How to Cook your Bird Roast
- Bring the joint up to room temperature.
- Pre-heat your oven to 190°c/375° (170°c or gas mark 5 for fan assisted ovens)
- Calculate the cooking time allowing 40 minutes per kg, then add 15-20 minutes to overall cooking time
- Remove the packaging and place in a large roasting tray
- Season well
- Cover with a loose tent of foil
- Place in the middle of your pre-heated oven
- Roast for the calculated time basting every 30 to 40 minutes
- Remove the foil tent 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time to brown and crisp the skin
- Check that it is cooked by inserting a skewer – the juices should run clear. If they are a little pink give them 15 minutes more and check again
- Transfer to a serving platter and tightly cover in the foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving
