    Like Alison Williams (review number 2) I was very disappointed with the size of the joint compared to the picture in the advertisement. However the taste was very good and the meat moist and succulent.

    What a wonderful Sunday roast treat on valentines. Highly recommend ordering from here, super efficient. The flavours of the three birds were amazing with a great stuffing in the centre. The duck kept everything lovely and moist and the truffle honey was insane. Looking forward to ordering from here again

    First time order. Delivery was quick and packaging was very good. However I was a bit disappointed when opening the parcel as the joint was a lot smaller than I expected. Having said that it was the most delicious and succulent meat and I would have given 5 stars if it had just been a little bit bigger. The white truffle honey was a nice touch. I will definitely use this company again as I will be buying for the quality not the quantity.

Designed as an alternative to ‘The Great Sunday Roast’, the multi award winning three bird roasts from James Alexander Fine Foods are boneless, easy to carve, full of flavour and guaranteed to impress. 

The 3 Bird Roast with White Truffle Honey is 700g, and comprises chicken, duck and pheasant, expertly combined together so that each bird cooks simultaneously, and the juices combine exquisitely. Luxury gluten free pork stuffing is added for a melt-in-the-mouth texture and adding succulent flavours inside, as well as a decadent 30g jar of Truffle Honey from the Truffle Hunter, to drizzle on top and a couple of sprigs of rosemary to add depth and visual effect. A Great Taste Award winner worthy of the prize.


  • Bring the joint up to room temperature.        
  • Pre-heat your oven to 190°c/375° (170°c or gas mark 5 for fan assisted ovens)
  • Calculate the cooking time allowing 50 minutes per kg, then add 15-20 minutes to overall cooking time
  • Remove the packaging and place in a large roasting tray
  • Season well
  • Cover with a loose tent of foil
  • Place in the middle of your pre-heated oven
  • Roast for the calculated time basting every 30 to 40 minutes
  • Remove the foil tent 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time to brown and crisp the skin
  • Check that it is cooked by inserting a skewer – the juices should run clear. If they are a little pink give them 15 minutes more and check again
  • Transfer to a serving platter and tightly cover in the foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving
  • Spoon or brush white truffle honey over whole roast (3 tablespoons is sufficient)
