We guarantee all hamper orders for UK delivery will arrive in time for Christmas if placed before 10th December 2012 and all other orders if placed before 15th December 2012, subject to availability.
If you require a hamper delivery on a specific date please clearly request the date you require at time of placing your order - there is a box for you to enter a required delivery date or special delivery instructions at the end of checkout.
To ensure freshness of products and to minimise handling times so that orders arrive in perfect condition, orders are delivered by next day courier.
Please note that most of our fresh items can be frozen for upto 3 weeks.
These rates apply to each individual delivery address on parcels up to 10kg.
Per delivery under £50 carriage is £9.
Per delivery over £50 carriage is £7.50.
Orders over £90 are FREE.
Saturday delivery is £26. Please note that free delivery does not apply to Saturday deliveries.
Delivery charges are for one delivery to any single mainland United Kingdom address. This excludes Ireland, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islelands and the Channel Islands. It may be possible to dispatch some goods overseas. Please contact us for further details. In the event of non arrival, please contact us as soon as possible.
Most of our food items are made to order so will take upto 5 working days to prepare to ensure that they arrive fresh.
All deliveries require a signature. If the delivery service is unable to obtain a signature because you are out, a card will be left so that a re-delivery or collection from a local depot can be arranged. Please note: For fresh food deliveries it is recommended that the package is delivered to an address where it can be received, as products held in postal depots cannot be guaranteed to be refrigerated whilst being held. We will not be liable for food which spoils because of a failed delivery.
Our normal delivery days are Tuesday to Friday between 8am and 5:30pm. Unfortunately, we cannot stipulate the precise time but most parcels tend to be delivered by 3pm. Saturday deliveries are available at extra cost.
If you are sending food as a gift then we suggest that you tell the recipient to expect the delivery to avoid a missed delivery.
All orders require a signature on delivery, if you are not available to receive your order it will be left with your local APC depot and you will notified by means of a card posted through your letter box by our courier. Your order can be delivered to an alternative address such as a neighbour or delivered to your place of work if this is more convenient.
It is your duty to ensure that your requested delivery date is suitable for either yourself or your gift recipient to accept an order. Ideally, the recipient should be in to receive delivery.
If you are out, the courier may leave your goods with a neighbour and put a card through your door telling you where it is. If you have specific instructions for leaving safe i.e. in the garage, in porch, with next door neighbour (but not an alternative address), please indicate this in the ‘special delivery instructions’ box at the checkout.
If you live in a rural area, or somewhere that is hard to find, you need not worry about the delivery driver not finding you. As our courier, APC, will locate your property using your postcode. As long as this is correct, the driver will have no problem finding you.
Postcodes are essential to get your parcels to their destinations quickly.
Extensive tests have been carried out to ensure that your goods stay well within refrigerated temperatures during transit. We ensure that each individual item that you order is carefully packed . Your perishable items are packed with ice packs to keep them cool and placed in a polystyrene box to keep them well insulated to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.
Occasionally some packages can be delayed or even undelivered by the courier. Please contact us as soon as you have any concerns about your order. The quicker we know the better. We cannot be held responsible for parcels which are undelivered or mis-routed due to incomplete or incorrect addresses given by the customer.
Faulty or damaged goods must be reported to us within 2 days of delivery. In the event of dissatisfaction with the product supplied the goods are to be returned unopened and in the original packaging within 7 days of delivery and a refund will be sent on receipt by us.
Please contact us immediately by email or telephone if you are considering returning any items. Return delivery costs are to be paid by the purchaser and we suggest you return the goods by registered delivery as we will not refund returns lost in the post. We will only send a replacement product, upon confirmation that the damaged items have been returned. Perishable goods must have been kept refrigerated from the day of delivery.
