OUR DEFAULT CHRISTMAS DELIVERY DATE IS WEDNESDAY 20TH DECEMBER 2023. IF YOU REQUIRE AN ALTERNATIVE DATE, PLEASE STIPULATE THIS DATE IN THE ORDER/DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS BOX AT CHECKOUT. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DELIVER ON SUNDAY'S OR MONDAY'S. WE CAN CONFIRM THAT YOU WILL BE KEPT FULLY UPDATED WITH THE PROGRESS OF YOUR PARCEL, WHICH WILL BE SENT IN A FULLY COMPOSTABLE REFRIGERATED BOX USING NATURAL SHEEP WOOL AS INSULATION WHICH WILL KEEP THE GOODS BELOW 5C FOR UP TO 72 HOURS.

PLEASE INCLUDE A CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER AND ENSURE YOUR POSTCODE IS CORRECT TO HELP OUR COURIER DRIVERS.

We guarantee all orders for UK delivery will arrive within 1-2 days of placing your order to your chosen delivery date.

If you require a bird roast or any other product delivered on a specific date, please click on the drop down calendar, and choose a date of your choice. N.B PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT DELIVER ON SUNDAY'S OR MONDAY'S. There is a box on the page before checkout for you to enter any special delivery instructions for our UK Mail DHL courier drivers. On the evening of despatch, or on the following morning of your delivery date, you will be sent a delivery confirmation notification via Email/SMS from UK Mail DHL saying that UK Mail DHL are in receipt of your delivery, and you will be assigned a unique 14 digit tracking number to track progress of your parcel.

To ensure freshness of products and to minimise handling times so that orders arrive in perfect condition, orders are delivered by next day courier.

Please note that most of our fresh items can be frozen for up to 4 weeks.

Delivery Charges

These rates apply to each individual delivery address on parcels up to 10kg inclusive of VAT.

FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY FOR ORDERS OVER £49.00

Saturday delivery is £17.46. Please note that free delivery does not apply to Saturday deliveries. We are able to deliver in 2 time slots for Saturday - 10am and 12pm. Please contact us with your specific needs.

PLEASE NOTE: Delivery charges are for one delivery to any single mainland United Kingdom address. This excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islands, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands (please see delivery charge breakdown below). It may be possible to despatch some goods internationally, please contact us with your requirements, so we can provide you with an accurate international delivery price. In the event of non arrival, please contact us as soon as possible.

Delivery schedule

Most of our food items are made to order so will take up to 5 working days to prepare to ensure that they arrive fresh. All deliveries require a signature. If the delivery service is unable to obtain a signature because you are out, a card will be left so that a re-delivery or collection from a local depot can be arranged. Please note: For fresh food deliveries it is recommended that the package is delivered to an address where it can be received, as products held in postal depots cannot be guaranteed to be refrigerated whilst being held. We will not be liable for food which spoils because of a failed delivery.

Delivery days

Our normal delivery days are Tuesday to Friday between 8am and 5:30pm. Unfortunately, we cannot stipulate the precise time, but most parcels tend to be delivered by 4pm. Saturday deliveries are available at extra cost (please see above).

Food sent as a gift

If you are sending food as a gift then we suggest that you tell the recipient to expect the delivery to avoid a missed delivery.

What happens if you are out

All orders require a signature on delivery, if you are not available to receive your order it will be left with your local UK Mail DHL depot and you will notified by means of a card posted through your letter box by our courier. Your order can be delivered to an alternative address such as a neighbour or delivered to your place of work if this is more convenient.

Leaving safe

It is your duty to ensure that your requested delivery date is suitable for either yourself or your gift recipient to accept an order. Ideally, the recipient should be in to receive delivery.

If you are out, the courier may leave your goods with a neighbour and put a card through your door telling you where it is. If you have specific instructions for leaving safe i.e. in the garage, in porch, with next door neighbour (but not an alternative address), please indicate this in the ‘special delivery instructions’ box at the checkout.

Delivery in rural areas

If you live in a rural area, or somewhere that is hard to find, you need not worry about the delivery driver not finding you. As our courier, UK MAIL DHL, will locate your property using your postcode. As long as this is correct, the driver will have no problem finding you.

Postcodes are essential to get your parcels to their destinations quickly.

Packaging

Extensive tests have been carried out to ensure that your goods stay well within refrigerated temperatures during transit. We ensure that each individual item that you order is carefully packed . Your perishable items are packed with ice packs to keep them cool, and placed in a fully recyclable cardboard box with natural sheep's wool to keep them well insulated to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.

Returns and non delivery

Occasionally some packages can be delayed or even undelivered by the courier. Please contact us as soon as you have any concerns about your order. The quicker we know the better. We cannot be held responsible for parcels which are undelivered or mis-routed due to incomplete or incorrect addresses given by the customer.

Faulty or damaged goods must be reported to us within 2 days of delivery. In the event of dissatisfaction with the product supplied the goods are to be returned unopened and in the original packaging within 7 days of delivery and a refund will be sent on receipt by us.


Please contact us immediately by email or telephone if you are considering returning any items. Return delivery costs are to be paid by the purchaser and we suggest you return the goods by registered delivery as we will not refund returns lost in the post. We will only send a replacement product, upon confirmation that the damaged items have been returned. Perishable goods must have been kept refrigerated from the day of delivery.
